Open House, the artists@318

In celebration of a successful 2016 come and join us for Open House with The Artists@318 at Farnham Pottery.  There will be a private view on Friday 25th November, 6-9pm which is open to all and then the end of year exhibition and sale will be on from 26-27th November, 11am - 4pm.

There will be the opportunity to see and talk to all the artists who have studio space at 318, their exhibition will be based in the central part of Farnham Pottery.

Jane Ogden-Swift whose work you see in the above image, this piece was also on exhibition in The Mall Gallery, London this summer and was awarded a distinction by the society of Designer Craftsmen.  Her work explores relationships and dependencies.
Ashley Howard is using the occasion to release some of his archive work and a key event for Ashley this year saw him become a member of the the renowned International Academy of Ceramics in Switzerland.
Kim Bagley has held her first post-doctoral research position at the Ceramics Research Centre - UK, University of Westminster.  She has been developing a new collaborative installation to be exhibited in 2017.
Judy Dibiase has had a productive year with exhibitions in London and Surrey.  Work has been seen in World of Interiors and used by interior design companies for various projects.
Sheena Bonds' interests lie in the printed surface and low relief texture.  She has collaborated on two recent projects, one of which is a large wall piece for the Point in Eastleigh, the other for Hampshire Cultural Trust.
Rachel Whitehead joined 318's resident artists in January.  She has been exploring the sculptural qualities of ceramics through the notion of the universal goddess.
