the life behind 318 ceramics
Adventures with Porcelain
Written by Fiona Knight

Saturday 10th October 2015 - 10.30 - 4pm - The Farnham Pottery

This promises to be an exceptional day and the first event hosted jointly by WSP and 318 Ceramics at Farnham Pottery. Margaret's individual vision and intimate understanding of materials and processes will be shared through a slide talk and practical demonstration.

In her own words “The translucency of high fired porcelain captured my imagination and led me to create thrown sculptural forms that give light”

Join us for a talk, slide show and demonstration in the Fancy loft at Farnham Pottery with an opportunity for questions and answers afterwards.

Margaret will reform thrown pieces and share processes that have led to the development of some of the individual free standing sculptures she has created. The surmounting of technical problems when lighting high fired Porcelain and creating designs for industry will be covered.

Tickets cost £25 in advance, or £27 on the door.

Places are limited so early booking is advisable, for further information:, email, tel 07918 666898, email, tel 07468 696620
